The Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi Offices provides administrative support to Te Kaahui o Rauru (TKoR), hapu, marae and descendants of Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi Iwi. All operational work pertaining to Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi Iwi is carried out by the Office. The Office is responsible for governance support, development and implementation of a communication strategy, internal administration, preservation, resource management, effective risk management and compliance as well as promotion of Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi Iwi. The Office is situated in the Whanganui central business area for easy access to suppliers, advice and other amenities; however it is likely that it will move into the heart of the Ngaa Rauru rohe some time in the near future.
STAFF
Esther Tinirau, Kaiwhakahaere (CEO), manages operations and ensures that the Office is working to its set annual plans as well as aligning to the Strategic PLan and meeting the objectives set out by Te Kaahui o Rauru. Esther began work for the Iwiin September 2009 and affiliates to Whanganui, Ngati Rangi and Ngati Tuwharetoa.
| | | | Hiria Tamarapa, Kaiwhakahaere o te Tari (Office Manager), oversees work pertaining to compliance and finance. Hiria is also secretary to the Kaiwhakahaere, primary administrator for Kii Tahi Ltd, and ensures the Office is running smoothly. She is also responsible for Payroll and Human Resource. Hiria has worked for the Iwi since October 2004 abd affiliates to Ngati Pourua and Ngati Maika. | | | | Pania Winterburn, Kai-pupuri Putea (Finance Controller), in conjunction with the Office Manager provides a range of operational financial services and advice to Te Kaahui o Rauru, its subsidiary entities and sub-committees which range from accounts payable & receivable to the administration of assets. Pania began working for the Iwi in January 2007 and affiliates to Ngati Pukeko. | | | | Chrystal Hika, Kai-tuhituhi/Kaitangotango Puna-koorero (Office Administrator/IT Coordinator), provides Administration and Secretariat services to Te Kaahui o Rauru. She is also the IT coordinator, providing services to the Office. Chrystal commenced work between August 2007 till June 2008, returning in February 2009 and affiliates to all Hapuu throughout the Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi Iwi. | | | | Arareina Davis, Kai-whakatau Manuhiri/Kaitakai Putunga Koorero (Receptionist/Administration Support), provides IT support, Administration Support and Reception duties to all areas of the offce. Also providing Secretariat services as required. Arareina commenced work in June 2008 and affiliates to Ngati Maika and Ngati Hinewaiatarua. | | | | Mohi Apou, Te Pepeke Mahiri (Cultural Advisor, is responsible for the development of the Cultural Strategy. Mohi has developed three main sub-strategies which are Cultutal Standards, Archiving and Kaumatua. He is required to contribute at governance level in the development of cultural policy advice, development and implementation, and is also required to provide leadership in all cultural matters across all of Te Kaahui o Rauru. Mohi began working for the Iwi in May 2007 and affiliates to all Hapuu throughout the Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi Iwi. |
